Binofloat is a new product and supplies are very limited. We are currently accepting orders and will fulfill them on a first-come first-served basis.
What you need to order
A complete Binofloat consists of two parts: a Main Framework and a counterweight. You will need to order a Main Framework. For the counterweight, you have three choices. If your binoculars weigh no more than 7.5 pounds, you can order the Light Counterweight Kit. If your binoculars are over 7.5 to 12 pounds, order the Heavy Counterweight Kit. Or, you can supply your own counterweight (see details below).
Terms and Conditions
Within one day of when your order is received, we will reply with an email giving an estimated shipping date. When your order is ready to ship, we will inform you by email. If you confirm your order at that time, you will receive a PayPal invoice from Libra Designs LLC requesting payment. Shipping within the U.S. (50 states and territories) is included in the price. Shipping is via U.S. Postal Service Ground Advantage (1-3 days). For international shipping, contact us for special arrangements. Sales tax, if any, will be added at this time. If you have a PayPal account, you can use it, or you can enter a credit/debit card number.
Money Back Guarantee
If you're not completely satisfied with your Binofloat, return it within 30 days for a full refund. You will be responsible for the cost of return shipping. If you don't have the original carton, you can purchase a replacement from us. In addition, if your merchandise never arrives or is "substantially not as described", you can request a refund from PayPal.
Main Framework
$895.00 plus tax
The Main Framework consists of three parts: the Pier, the Parallelogram, and the Binocular Frame. The Pier rests on the ground and supports the Parallelogram. The Binocular Frame is attached to the front end of the Parallelogram. Your binoculars are attached to the Binocular Frame.
In addition to the Main Framework, you will need a Counterweight. The Counterweight is attached to the rear end of the Parallelogram and balances the binoculars. You can either purchase a Counterweight Kit which is sold and shipped separately, or you can supply your own counterweight.

If you choose to supply your own counterweight, you will need a 1" diameter bar and one or more weights. The weights will need a 1" diameter hole at the center to slip on the bar. In order for the Binofloat to balance properly, the center of mass of the weights must be at the center of the hole, like circular barbell plates. Also keep in mind that because of the asymmetrical design of Binofloat, it takes about 1.2 pounds of counterweight to balance a pound of binoculars.

Light Counterweight Kit

The Light Counterweight Kit precisely balances binoculars of any weight up to 7.5 pounds. It fits on the back end of the Parallelogram. It consists of painted cast iron barbell plates of 5, 2.5, and 1.25 pounds, six 1" plated steel USS washers, one 1" plated steel SAE washer, a 1" by 6" stainless steel bar, and a pair of barbell end clips. The Light and Heavy Counterweight Kits are identical except that the Heavy Kit includes one additional 5 pound weight.

Heavy Counterweight Kit

The Heavy Counterweight Kit precisely balances binoculars of any weight up to 12 pounds. It fits on the back end of the Parallelogram. It consists of painted cast iron barbell plates of 5 (x2), 2.5, and 1.25 pounds, six 1" plated steel USS washers, one 1" plated steel SAE washer, a 1" by 6" stainless steel bar, and a pair of barbell end clips. The Light and Heavy Counterweight Kits are identical except that the Heavy Kit includes one additional 5 pound weight.
